Day 1 : Fly to Serengeti National Park
Your 5 Days Flying Safari From Zanzibar to Serengeti will start by taking a local aircraft from Zanzibar International Airport to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip, our guide will pick you up and take you on a game drive with a picnic lunch.
Serengeti National Park, located in northern Tanzania, is a World Heritage Site with an extent of around 15,000 square kilometers. The park is home to around 2 million herbivores, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and approximately 500 bird species. During the dry season, you can observe huge herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra.

Day 2 :Full Day at the Serengeti
Today will be a full day of game drives in Serengeti National area as you continue to explore the area, hoping to see wildlife with the assistance of your guide. We’ll keep looking for Africa’s Big Five: lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinoceros.
The northern Serengeti is home to a diverse range of animals, including lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and the uncommon oribi antelope.

Day 3 : Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Today, you’ll get an early start, waking up at 6:30 in the morning and meeting in the safari vehicle. The plan is to go on a morning game drive, taking advantage of the time when the animals are most active. After an amazing animal encounter, you’ll stop at a beautiful lunch spot hidden in the bush. You can enjoy a great breakfast while admiring nature’s untamed splendor.
The game drive will last until midday, allowing for additional exploration and wildlife sightings. At this point, you’ll take a stop for lunch before heading to Ngorongoro. You will arrive at your lodging in the late afternoon, where you will be treated to a delicious dinner before spending the night comfortably.

Day 4 : Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Today, you’ll drive to the 8th Wonder of the World for a full-day game drive to spot wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater, sometimes known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden,” is a well-preserved natural phenomena that has become a haven for a variety of wildlife. It is 190 kilometres from Arusha town. There are numerous reasons why you should come to Safari. First, there was a volcanic crater filled with grassland, forest, and swamp, a jaw-dropping beauty. Second, the crater floor’s persistent water sustains a resident population of around 25,000 large mammals, including leopards, lions, black rhinos, hyenas, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and many more. Soon after climbing from the crater floor, you will drive to your Lodge to prepare for the next day.

Day 5 : Tarangire National Park to Zanzibar or JRO
Tarangire National Park will be your final safari destination. This park, famous for its vast elephant populations and unique baobab trees, provides stunning views. A game drive around the park will allow you to see a variety of species, including giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, and elephants. After lunch at the  picnic site you will continue your transfer to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your planned flight back to Zanzibar, filled with memories of a 5 Days Flying Safari From Zanzibar to Serengeti adventure.

What is the luggage allowance on the light aircraft ?
Luggage is strictly limited due to aircraft size and weight restrictions. Typically, the allowance is:
Soft-sided duffel bags only (hard suitcases are not permitted).
Weight limit: 15-20 kg (33-44 lbs) per person in total, including hand luggage.
Dimensions are often restricted (e.g., 25cm x 30cm x 62cm). Exact limits will be provided in your pre-departure information.
What to Pack ?
Wear comfortable safari clothes. It’s best to wear layers because the weather might change. Important: Always include your camera, binoculars, prescriptions, travel documents, and a light jacket in your carry-on bag.
How many people on Plane ?
Aircraft vary but commonly seat 12-19 passengers on scheduled shared flights. Seating is assigned by the operator, and all passengers have a window seat. Private charter flights are also available for greater flexibility.
Are the flights direct, or do they make multiple stops ?
The scheduled flights frequently function like a “bus service in the sky,” with brief stops at several airstrips to drop off and pick up passengers. Your guide will educate you about the timetable. Direct private charters can be arranged.
What happens if my international flight to Kilimanjaro (JRO) is delayed ?
Whenever possible, we include flexibility at the beginning of your trip. We will help you rebook on the next available flight, however there may be additional fees, if you miss a scheduled domestic flight because of an international delay. Arriving at least one day prior to the start of your safari is highly recommended.
Is flying safe ?

Can I extend my trip to Zanzibar ?
