Day 1 : Fly to Serengeti National Park
Your 4 Days Flying Safari from Zanzibar to Serengeti starts as you leave Zanzibar’s beaches farewell. Take a scheduled light plane for a scenic flight over Tanzania’s mainland after an early ride to the airport. Your personal guide and safari vehicle will be ready for you when you land at an airstrip in the Serengeti.
You will be taken directly to Serengeti National Park following a kind welcome and brief introduction. You may encounter herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles grazing on the endless plains during your first game drive, with predators nearby. Arrive at your Lodge/Camp as the sun begins to set. There, you can dine a delicious meal under the stars in Africa after enjoying a sundowner.

Day 2 :Full Day at the Serengeti
The sounds of the wilderness will rouse you. Following breakfast, prepare a meal and commence a full-day wildlife excursion. You may thereafter explore the diverse ecosystems of the Serengeti. Your skilled guide will lead you in observing a diverse array of birds, cheetahs in pursuit, and the renowned Big Five. Visit the magnificent granite formations referred to as the Kopjes or the Seronera River Valley. The best chance to observe the wilderness and the stunning expanse of this UNESCO World Heritage Site is to dedicate an entire day for exploration.

Day 3 : Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
On the third day of your 4 Days Flying Safari from Zanzibar to Serengeti you’ll have your breakfast early and then head to Ngorongoro Crater for a wildlife game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest volcanic caldera in the world that is still intact, inactive, and not filled with anything. With a floor area of roughly 260 square kilometers and a depth of more than 2000 feet, it is very large. A five-hour game drive on the floor of the crater will let you see a lot of animals in action. It’s a good idea to keep the camera ready. There are a lot of African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. After lunch at the lovely Hippo pool, you will start a difficult climb to the top exit of the crater.

Day 4 : Tarangire National Park to Zanzibar or JRO
After breakfast, travel to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its high elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a final morning game drive along the Tarangire River, a key water source that attracts large herds of elephants, buffalo, and a diverse range of birds. After lunch at the  picnic site you will continue your transfer to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your planned flight back to Zanzibar, filled with memories of a 4 Days Flying Safari from Zanzibar to Serengeti adventure.

What is the luggage allowance on the light aircraft ?
Luggage is strictly limited due to aircraft size and weight restrictions. Typically, the allowance is:
Soft-sided duffel bags only (hard suitcases are not permitted).
Weight limit: 15-20 kg (33-44 lbs) per person in total, including hand luggage.
Dimensions are often restricted (e.g., 25cm x 30cm x 62cm). Exact limits will be provided in your pre-departure information.
What to Pack ?
Wear comfortable safari clothes. It’s best to wear layers because the weather might change. Important: Always include your camera, binoculars, prescriptions, travel documents, and a light jacket in your carry-on bag.
How many people on Plane ?
Aircraft vary but commonly seat 12-19 passengers on scheduled shared flights. Seating is assigned by the operator, and all passengers have a window seat. Private charter flights are also available for greater flexibility.
Are the flights direct, or do they make multiple stops ?
The scheduled flights frequently function like a “bus service in the sky,” with brief stops at several airstrips to drop off and pick up passengers. Your guide will educate you about the timetable. Direct private charters can be arranged.
What happens if my international flight to Kilimanjaro (JRO) is delayed ?
Whenever possible, we include flexibility at the beginning of your trip. We will help you rebook on the next available flight, however there may be additional fees, if you miss a scheduled domestic flight because of an international delay. Arriving at least one day prior to the start of your safari is highly recommended.
Is flying safe ?
Indeed. We exclusively collaborate with respectable, authorized domestic airlines that follow stringent international and Tanzanian safety regulations. Their pilots have a great deal of local flying expertise.
Can I extend my trip to Zanzibar ?
Of course! We can easily set up your flight to Zanzibar (ZNZ) from a mainland park airstrip (such as Seronera or Manyara).
