The 10 Days Tanzania and Zanzibar Beach Safari is great for anyone looking for a really relaxed vacation tour.
After visiting the Serengeti National Park, Tarangire National Park, and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on the Tanzanian mainland, you will travel to the coastline area to enjoy the sandy beaches of Zanzibar as well as a range of activities. This package offers a range of activities that will make your trip unforgettable, in addition to time at the beach and on safari. To make your stay to Zanzibar more unforgettable, we can arrange excursions to Stone Town, dolphin cruises, spice tours, and other activities.

Itinerary in detail

Day 1 : Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport where you will be greeted by your guide. Upon arrival at your first luxury lodge in Arusha, take the rest of the day to relax, restore and enjoy your first taste of Africa. Your private safari guide is an expert on all things Tanzania – from the culture to the national parks to Tanzania’s wonderful wildlife.

Day 2 : Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast we start our 5 Days Tanzania Luxury Safari Safari by departing to Tarangire for a game drive with packed lunch at the park. The park is famous for having the largest population of elephants, cat families, bird species, and baobab trees. It is also considered a dry refuge for animals due to the presence of the Tarangire River.

Day 3 : Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will drive straight to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop at a viewing point. After that, you will descend into the 600m-deep crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is one of the world’s most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Maasai community. On reaching the crater’s edge, the 20km-diameter caldera opens up before you in all its glory, and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail.

This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals, including a wide range of bird species, hyenas, and the endangered black rhinos. We will serve you a hot lunch at a picnic spot near the hippo pool. After lunch, we will drive you straight to the heart of Serengeti National Park. You will have an en-route game drive to your accommodation where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 : Central Serengeti National Park

As we travel from Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park, we can stop by a Masai village or the archeological site of Olduvai Gorge, where the Leakeys discovered ancient human fossils that led to the Evolution theory, before entering Serengeti via Naabi Gate about midday. We have a picnic lunch at the gate or on top of a Kopje before continuing our game drives in the Serengeti until it is time to check in at the Lodge.

Day 5 : Central Serengeti National Park

Your preferences are our priority, and we will organize this day entirely to align with your wishes. Your guide will talk with you about the optimal timing for your experience, including the game drives and wake-up time. For instance, you might choose to embark on a morning game drive, head back to the camp for lunch and some relaxation, and then conclude with an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you could opt for a full day game drive with picnic lunches included. The name Serengeti Park comes from the Maasai language, which translates to “endless plain.” This expansive plain, covering 14,763 square kilometers, hosts a diverse array of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, baboons, warthogs, hyenas, and a rich variety of bird species. Migration often occurs around the Serengeti, where millions of wildebeest and zebras gather, accompanied by predators. Our expert guide will steer you in the right direction, ensuring you have an exceptional experience while enjoying these remarkable phenomena. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 6 : Central to Northern Serengeti National Park

Program: Drive to Northern Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunchbox after getting up early and having breakfast. We’ll have lunch by the Mara River, which is a terrific spot to witness the huge migration. Our safari guide will locate the ideal vantage position, so don’t worry! Interesting events take place throughout the migration, such the conflicts between crocodiles and wildebeest as they attempt to cross the river that is crocodile-infested. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, and cheetahs, among other predators.

The largest important herd movement of zebras, wildebeest, and other animals traveling across the Mara River to the Masai Mara in Kenya is known as the “great migration.” Every year, July through early October is the ideal time to travel and see the Great Migration.

Day 7 : Northern Serengeti National Park

Get up early, eat breakfast, and then continue your Northern Serengeti game drive, paying particular attention to the great migration. You will spend the night in Central Serengeti after we return there by car later in the day.

Large herds of wildebeests, zebras, and other species cross the crocodile-infested Mara River on their way to the Masai Mara in Kenya during the Great Migration, the world’s greatest land-based animal movement. Every year, July through early October is the greatest time to see this amazing natural phenomenon.

Day 8 : Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar

After breakfast in the early morning, depart from the lodge and keep an eye out for early-rising wildlife as you proceed to the Seronera Airstrip in central Serengeti for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival in Zanzibar, you will be escorted to the beach hotel to relax.

Day 9 : Relaxation at the Beach

After breakfast, you will spend the day relaxing at your hotel or doing whatever activities you want. Zanzibar is known for its stunning beaches, good beach hotels, and friendly locals, making it an ideal destination to unwind and enjoy your vacation.
